Bharati Neelamraju

Agnese Nelms Haury Fellow
Department of Materials Science and Engineering

Bharati Neelamraju is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering with a master’s degree in optical science. She received her undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Hyderabad, India. Her current research focuses on understanding the structure-property relationships in organic semiconductor devices for applications in bioelectronics, opto-electronics, energy harvesting, and storage, with lower costs and reduced environmental footprints. She believes organic electronics are the future for sustainable devices beyond the era of silicon, and that they have the potential to reach remote areas with no access to electricity.
