Chosen Obih headshot

Chosen Obih is a doctoral student in the School of Plant Sciences. He grew up in Southern Nigeria where he earned a BSc in Biotechnology from Godfrey Okoye University Enugu and a MSc in Plant Sciences and Biotechnology from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. His current PhD research focuses on deciphering the cellular regulatory response of sorghum diversity panels to drought and heat stress. After earning his PhD, Chosen wants to conduct research focused on the application of genomics and computational tools to accelerate the development of new crops that can withstand our changing climate.
